5 Romantic Dates Ideas For Singapore

With Singapore's fast pace of life and cramped island, it can be hard for you and a partner to get away from it all. Here are 5 ideas for you to spend time together. As a general rule weekdays and night time are the best time to get some privacy. Do not, I repeat do not, try these on weekends during the day!

5. A Car

You need privacy, but home isn't an option. Be extra classy by bringing newspapers to stick to the windows.

4. Picnic

MacRitchie Reservoir and Bukit Batok Nature Park are beautiful during the day. MacRitchie Reservoir is a particular treat where you can lie back on the luscious grass which overlooks the lake. Just watch out for those bloody monkeys who will steal your food, and more, if you turn your back.

3. Walking the greens

Botanic Gardens, Henderson Wave Bridge and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve are beautiful sights and provide a bit more of an energetic date. This is especially true of Bukit Timah Nature Reserve which has its fair share of steps to climb! Henderson Wave Bridge is a real treat during the night when you can see the city lit up.

2. Eating out

"The way to a man's heart is through his stomach". What better way to feed your partners love by going out and sharing some amazing food? Whether its satay at a hawker, or a 5 course meal at a $200 restaurant Singapore offers many delicious locations to share with your partner.

1. The beach at night

While Sentosa's artificial beach isn't much to look at during the day, it becomes magical at night. Walk the sand bare foot, hand in hand, with the beach all to yourselves. Sit up on the rocks and listen to the waves lapping. If you manage to stay awake you can watch the sunrise. Oh and there is nobody around in the early hours...
